Take A Break

{Just A Thought about self-motivation #11}
Some days I wake up motivated and ready to go. And some days things feel heavy as I arise and it is hard to get going and find that inner drive.
At least in my experience.
I have found some simple and smart strategies that work for me to get back into the right groove and to get things done.
Here are some of my favorite tips and habits for doing just that.

Don’t forget about the breaks. Few things can in my experience drain the daily motivation like just working non-stop. Instead, work for 45 minutes each hour and use the rest for a break where I eat snack, got out for some fresh air or do a bit of stretching. I’ll – perhaps somewhat counter-intuitively – get more done in a day and week and do work of higher quality because myenergy, focus and motivation will simply last longer.

{My Successes}

  1. My value of dare, I cut this irritating node of my stitches, I was confident & dared to do it now.
  2. My value of care, it was my comfy Sunday, I was in my jammies, resting, chilling out.
  3. My value of joy, I had my crumpet for breakfast and it was so good!
  4. My value of determination, I loved cooking, I cooked my first Sunday roast and it was fun to do. “cooking with fun &  passion”
  5. My value of sharing, my friend gave me feedback & he wanted to start his blog too. I shared my successes with him and I appreciated his sharing.
  6. My value of fun, I watched this documentary on Netflix <hot girl wanted: turned on> click links and check it out. It was about porn, technology, cam girls and so much more .. let’s talk about sex, baby.
    In my opinion, I don’t judge them and I respect them. When people are willing to pay for attention and cyber sex, then have fun. These cam girls earned even more than me and it’s their choice. Who am I to judge? It was interesting.
  7. My value of care & inspiration, I shared my opinion with my dear friend. I spoke up, I appreciated his great input and I appreciated his inspiration.
  8. My value of joy, I loved cooking, it was exciting to have my first creation and I combined my own idea with the original recipe. <Woo Hoo> Cooking is like have experiment in the lab, love it!
  9. My value of care & joy, I made some more handmade cards, I had fun, I was calm and I was happy.
  10. My value of insight, When I am busy with other’s opinion, then I am not loyal to myself. I forget one important person! why would I make their opinion more important than myself. Say thank you for your feedback and we are done! As I say “opinion & fact”, I can change my opinion and I can change my attitude. I can’t change FACT and I can’t change YOUR opinion or attitude.
    My better world is : spread kindness and love instead of hate.

    I appreciate feedback, guys! Your care & input are vulnerable to me; to improve, to correct and to let me see the alternative solutions. It’s all WIN-WIN and It’s very simple.
    You know what, social media didn’t make me an Asshole. These Assholes blame social media. hey! The problem is YOU and not the social media.
